What is Express Entry?
Express Entry is Canada’s flagship immigration system for skilled workers. It allows eligible candidates to apply for permanent residence based on factors such as age, education, work experience, and language ability. The system is designed to fast-track applications for individuals who are likely to succeed in Canada’s labour market.
To be eligible for Express Entry, applicants must:
– Have at least one year of skilled work experience in the last 10 years;
– Meet minimum language proficiency requirements in English or French;
– Have completed post-secondary education (assessed by ECA);
– Score enough points under the Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS);
– Demonstrate financial sufficiency (proof of funds); and
– Be admissible to Canada.
Provide accurate personal details, education, language skills, and work experience. Submit your profile to enter the Express Entry pool.
If you rank high enough in the Express Entry pool, you may receive an Invitation to Apply for permanent residence during a round of invitations.
Once you receive an ITA, you’ll have 60 days to submit a complete application for permanent residence with supporting documents.
